A workshop entitled “The Role of the Biomedical Engineer in the Development of Medical Technologies”

Under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, and the supervision of the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department,

Prof. Dr. Sadiq Hussein Bakhi, the Biomedical Engineering Department, in cooperation with the Information Technology Division

organized a workshop entitled “The Role of the Biomedical Engineer in Developing Medical Technologies”

which was presented by Asst.Lect. Dihaa Mohammed Abid on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

The workshop, directed mainly to students and faculty members, aimed to highlight the importance of technology incubators and their role in supporting innovations and introducing investment laws and the rights of investors and patent holders in the labor market. The workshop also addressed the mechanisms of employing the technology incubator in strengthening the Iraqi economy by investing the energies of young graduates and finding job opportunities for them in biomedical engineering.
