The Biomedical Engineering department organizes a humanitarian visit to Al Ain Charitable Foundation

In light of the great challenges our world is facing today, the orphan remains in dire need of those who extend a helping hand to him, give him the warmth and tenderness of their hearts, restore his lost smile, and renew his hopes in life.

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, and the supervision of the Head of the BioMedical Engineering Department,

In cooperation with the Voluntary Work Committee, Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hussein Bakhy, the Department of BioMedical Engineering, organized a humanitarian visit to the Al-Ain Charitable Foundation, embodying the values of humanity and social solidarity.

The following participated in the visit

Assistant Professor Dr. Ziad Qasim Habib (Scientific Associate), Dr. Alaa Muhammad Dawood (Head of the Medical Devices Branch), Dr. Ali Jalal Ali (Head of the Voluntary Work Committee), along with a group of faculty members of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, members of the Voluntary Work Committee, and a group of students of the Department of Biomedical Engineering.

The visit included presenting a set of gifts to the orphaned children, in addition to an introductory tour inside the institution to learn about its departments and work mechanism. The types of orphan sponsorship and its implementation mechanisms were also discussed, which contributed to consolidating the concepts of giving and social responsibility among the participants.

At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed their thanks and deep gratitude to the management of Al Ain Charity Foundation for the impact of such humanitarian initiatives, stressing that such visits embody the depth of cohesion between the university and society, through which the university seeks to instill the spirit of solidarity, compassion and giving among our dear students, so that they can be community builders who carry the torch of goodness and humanity wherever they go.
