A workshop entitled “Economic, Social and Cultural Rights of the Individual”

Within the activities of the week of scientific and cultural activities of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, and the supervision of the Head of the Department, Prof. Sadiq Hussein Bakhi.

The department opened its first weekly activities in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit through

A workshop entitled “Economic, Social and Cultural Rights of the Individual”

which was delivered by the teacher Dr. Ali Fadl Baiwi on Sunday, March 23, 2025.

The workshop aimed to enhance awareness of economic, social, and cultural rights and support efforts to protect them and achieve justice. It concluded by emphasizing the importance of the role played by institutions and human rights organizations in promoting these rights and making them the focus of public opinion.
It also stressed the importance of cooperation between universities and human rights institutions to develop educational programs that spread a culture of human rights and promote social justice in society.
