Tasks of the Graduate Studies Division:

1- Prepare and unify the admission plan for postgraduate studies annually.

2- Supervising the application for study leaves annually and auditing them for the purpose of approval by the Ministry.

3- Supervising and following up the procedures for applying for postgraduate studies, unifying them, and issuing an administrative order for admission.

4- Supervising and following up the implementation of the Ministry’s instructions regarding application, acceptance, extension, postponement and registration of graduate students.

5- Completing the procedures for organizing the files of accepted graduate students, including checking documents and the validity of issuances.

6- Referring master’s theses to the linguistic and scientific constituent after delivering them to the scientific department and after adjusting the percentage of plagiarism.

7- Issuing administrative orders for the formation of committees to discuss graduate students in accordance with ministerial instructions.

8- Organizing the curriculum vitae of students who have completed the requirements for submitting the thesis to issue the university order to grant them the certificate.

9- Attestation and issuance of documents of graduate students.

Activities of the Division:

  1. Supervising and following up the implementation of the Ministry’s instructions regarding application, acceptance, extension, postponement and registration of graduate students.
  2. Completing the procedures for organizing the files of accepted graduate students, including checking documents and the authenticity of issuances.
  3. Complete the requirements of the graduate studies of curricula, admission plan, original and supporting cadres
  4. Completing the logistical requirements of halls, supplies, examination committee and requirements to supervise student files on paper and electronically.
  5. Follow-up of graduate students from the staff studying inside and outside Iraq and follow up their academic status.
