The Golden Jubilee of the University of Technology concludes with two scientific workshops
Under the auspices of the President of the University of technology, Prof. Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Biomedical Engineering College,
Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hussein Bakhy, the college concluded its activities on the golden jubilee of the founding of the University of technology by organizing two scientific workshops.
The first workshop was presented by Ph.D. Hussein Jameel Mutashar, Administrative Assistant
Titled: “Using Mathematical Algorithms in Artificial Intelligence”
He discussed the modern applications of algorithms in the development of intelligent systems and their pivotal role in transforming digital processing into realistic solutions in multiple fields, including medicine, engineering, and communications.
This was followed by a second workshop presented by Assistant Professor Ph.D. Saad Mahmoud Ali, Head of the BioMechanic Department
Entitled: “Biomedical Engineering – Reality, Challenges and Future Prospects”.
The workshop dealt with the reality of the specialization locally and globally, with a presentation of the current challenges facing this vital field, in addition to foreseeing its promising future in light of the digital and technological revolution.
At the conclusion of the event, the Dean of the College delivered a speech in which he expressed his pride in the exceptional efforts exerted by the preparatory committee and the scientific committee organizing the fourth edition of the Student Projects Festival, stressing that these achievements are the fruit of academic solidarity and the innovative spirit enjoyed by the college’s staff.
In recognition of excellence and leadership, a group of scientifically distinguished professors was honored in recognition of their outstanding contributions to research publication and the advancement of the academic reality, to be the culmination of their rich career and a motivating message to future generations that excellence is the title of the future.
